Hotel Al Santo - Padova

Loved my stay at Hotel Al Santo. the staff was excellent and gave me recommendations. - Had a nice size and huge room with a view to Sant Anthony. - the breakfast was satisfactory with espresso and cheese. - the atmosphere was quiet.

Location right next to Basilica. The room was very nice and clean. Reception staff were extremely helpful and gave directions to all the main sights as well as providing us with maps and brochures etc. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, cheese, cold meats, cookies, juice etc.

I am 5' tall and slender build however I found it a problem getting in and out of the shower cabinet. My husband is 6' tall and twice my weight, so it was an even bigger problem for him. We dined twice at the restaurant however we were not impressed with the service. On the second visit we had to search for someone to give us the bill.

Really had quite comfortable stay on our vacation. Good location, minutes away from a botanical garden. Small restaurant at a moderate distance from the hotel. New-fashioned and well-equipped room with view to sant anthony...

We had a great room with central heating, a private safe, pay TV, a comfortable bed, and a bathtub, all in a wonderful location near the cathedral.

The room is plain, but large and clean. The location is very good for sightseeing, but if you have a car parking can be a little tricky (although we did find a spot a block away after circling several times). We ate at the restaurant for dinner the first night because it was late when we arrived - the food was good and reasonably priced.

This hotel was perfect in every respect but one. Excellent location in the historic centre, exceptionally friendly staff; large bedroom and bathroom.

The mattress was so hard that we could hardly sleep: we were told that all the mattresses were 'orthopaedic'. Also, the foam pillows had an unpleasant smell.

The restaurant was good for dinner, we both ordered fine dishes. the location was very central, great for visiting a basilica and a cathedral close to the hotel. - the hotel is surrounded by shopping areas, which was convenient. - Overall, had a very lovely stay during our vacation at Hotel Al Santo.

This charming family-run hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of major attractions and the famous cathedral. the rooms are spotlessly clean, cozy, with comfortable beds, quality linens, and modern AC. Staff are kind and welcoming, providing excellent service and a delicious breakfast with fresh pastries and good coffee. the bathroom is excellent with a great shower, hairdryer, and all the necessary amenities. Guests can enjoy a beautiful view of the nearby church, and the restaurant serves delicious Italian food.

Noise-sensitive guests may need earplugs due to the street noise.

In hotel review there was mentioned that the hotel has rooms with the cathedral view, what is totally imposible, because there is certain distanse between the hotel and the cathedral square.
